Doc Martin himself

Following is taken from the blog of a lucky couple who saw some filming of Doc Martin.

We got there about 0930 and already there were around 50 onlookers with around 20 crew and cast. It was lucky we were early as in just a couple of hours I would imagine things would be chaotic in those narrow streets.

Recently, armed with a full understanding the true meaning of ‘there’s no such thing as a free lunch’, David filed this report exclusively for Tellyspotting readers from the set of Doc Martin as they were filming the upcoming sixth series of the immensely popular ITV drama series. David, you truly sacrifice for the fans of Doc Martin on public television…

Below is one persons account of their day watching the filming of Doc Martin. It's an enjoyable read!

On Friday, I watched the filming of the popular ITV comedy-drama, Doc Martin, in Port Isaac, a show which stars Martin Clunes as the titular character, Caroline Catz as his love interest, Louisa Glasson, and Dame Eileen Atkins as his aunt, Dr. Ruth Ellingham.
